Brokerage relationship
ESMIA is a technology platform operated by Haydamax OÜ (Tallinn, Estonia). ESMIA is not a broker-dealer. Securities brokerage services for ESMIA accounts are provided by Alpaca Securities LLC, member FINRA / SIPC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AlpacaDB, Inc. Technology and account infrastructure are offered by AlpacaDB, Inc. You can review Alpaca Securities LLC on FINRA BrokerCheck.
Haydamax OÜ and Alpaca are separate, unaffiliated companies, and neither is responsible for the liabilities of the other. Your brokerage account, cash and securities are established and held at Alpaca, not at ESMIA or Haydamax OÜ.
ESMIA currently operates against Alpaca's brokerage sandbox environment while execution partnerships are being finalised. Quotes are live; order execution is being switched on progressively.

Risk disclosure
Investment losses are possible, including the potential loss of all amounts invested. The value of investments can fall as well as rise, past performance does not guarantee future results, and you may get back less than you invest. Securities accounts are not bank deposits, are not FDIC insured and are not guaranteed by Haydamax OÜ or by any bank.
SIPC protects securities customers of its members up to $500,000 (including $250,000 for claims for cash). SIPC does not protect against losses caused by a decline in the market value of your securities. An explanatory brochure is available at sipc.org.
Fractional shares
Fractional share transactions are executed by Alpaca. Fractional shares present unique risks and are subject to particular limitations: they are typically non-transferable, may have limited or no voting rights, and liquidity is provided solely by the executing broker. Alpaca does not make recommendations with regard to fractional share trading. See the Alpaca Customer Agreement in the disclosure library for details.
No investment advice
ESMIA provides self-directed brokerage access only. Nothing on this site — including collections, lists of market movers, charts, statistics or editorial descriptions — is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. All investment decisions are your own. If you are unsure whether an investment is right for you, seek advice from a licensed professional.
Market data
Market data is provided by Alpaca's data services. Prices shown may differ from execution prices; quotes can be delayed or adjusted by the venues that originate them.
